The Building Blocks for Healthy Ageing program aims to instill essential life skills related to wellness and happiness in children from early childhood, laying a strong foundation for lifelong health and well-being.

Our vision is to create a future generation equipped with the knowledge and tools to prevent non-communicable diseases and promote healthy ageing, ensuring a vibrant and active older population in Kerala.
OBJECTIVES
Enhancing wellness and happiness: By promoting healthy behaviors and skills to be happy in life right from early childhood.
Enhancing detection: Strengthening well-child checkups to incorporate early detection methods for a wider range of health concerns.
Promoting prevention: Integrating preventive measures and health education for children and caregivers into well-child checkups.
Fostering healthy habits: Encouraging the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits in early childhood, laying the groundwork for a healthy future.
Reducing NCD burden: By focusing on early detection and prevention, this project aims to contribute to a significant reduction in the future burden of NCDs in Kerala.
